All public Services and activities are canceled until further notice. However, our services will be live streamed on Sunday at 10 a.m. on our Facebook page and available to view afterwards.

The CDC, in accordance with its guidance for large events and mass gatherings, recommends that organizations cancel or postpone events that consist of 50 people or more. Additionally, the White House has recommended that Americans avoid social gatherings in groups of 10 or more.

As a church, we want to do our part to help stop the spread of COVID-19. To protect our congregation and community we are going to abide by the recommendation of the CDC. Therefore, we will NOT be holding worship services or regular church activities until advised to do so by health officials.

During this time, we will continue to share our worship & teaching time online (Facebook Live) at 10 am Sunday mornings. As always, you can join in what God is doing through our church by giving online here.  We will also be looking into ways to have online Bible studies.

This decision was not one that was taken lightly but is made out of a desire to obey and honor God by obeying His command to submit to the governing authorities (Romans 13) and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39). Even if in most cases, the symptoms of this disease are not life-threatening, the impact on vulnerable people in our community and the potential overload of medical providers are things that we must do everything in our ability to avoid.

While we will not be worshiping as a large group this Sunday, we encourage you to join together with family, friends and in small groups (as appropriate and responsible) for the FB Live broadcast. We know that this is not a substitute for the gathered church, but we hope that these steps will provide some support and encouragement during this difficult time.

This situation is constantly evolving, to stay up-to-date with Crest, check our website (, Facebook page ( or contact us at to be added to our email or text message update list.

A word of encouragement:

It is times like this for which our church family was designed. Work to stay connected with one another through calls, texts, social media and small group gatherings where appropriate. Reach out to those around you that are at risk or especially impacted by this crisis and share the love of Christ through connection and service. If you are aware of a need of which you are personally unable to meet, please let the church office know so that we as a church can serve our community to the best of our abilities in this difficult time.

Cancelling worship services/studies/activities is a difficult choice in difficult times. We believe that this is the wisest and most loving decision we can make in this situation. We are praying that we will be able to join together in worship soon and more importantly, that God would receive honor and glory through it all.
